Refactor so that default fields are more compatible with today's resources, i.e., MySpace address. Update so that fields can be removed without crashing CASK (Web control field bindings are tightly coupled to library user controls).

I recently deployed CASK to a .NET 3.5 Partial trust server and am getting numerous permission denied failures in various functions (http://Amarillo.us.com).

On my Vista Ultimate, IIS 7.0 development machine I am able to duplicate the errors if I set <trust level="Medium"/> in my web.config file. While debugging I observed the Output window and discovered it crashed attempting to load the "System.Web.RegularExpressions.dll" assembly

According to the following article: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms951290.aspx it does not support Partial Trust Callers; the article suggest I must create a "code group" that awards the assembly the FullTrust permission set. If all else fails I will have to replace affected classes with safe code.

A first chance exception of type 'System.Security.SecurityException' occurred in System.Web.RegularExpressions.dll
Comments: The Microsoft Practices and Patterns team have just released the Web Client Software Factory (WCSF April 2008) which will not support partial trust environments. Likewise the upcoming Unity project will not support partial trust environments. These are the future of the Web so the future of CASK lies with these applications; it will be rewritten using WCSF and Unity and therefore will require a full trust environment to run.

I utilize http://www.CrystalTech.com (have for years) and they have always accomodated me with full-trust servers and excellent support.

This was a feature added while assisting a developer for message thread:

SubDomains are not working for community configurations. i.e., demo.global-webnet.net would not respect the "demo" subdomain for the "global-webnet.net" domain configuration (domains worked as expected).
Comments: Refactored CommunityUtility and the Installation wizard so that the subdomain and domain were properly being parsed and processed. Updated the Web.Config's "CommunityOverride" so that developers can specify the URL/Domain that they are coding for, e.g., CommunityOverride="demo.global-webnet.net" would use the community configuration as expected.

Here's my issue, and maybe I'm missing something.

I create a user no problem.
Now when I view the profile I see minimal information.

I click edit profile, make changes then Update Profile.

No changes take effect and it still looks like the previous screen.

Items in the profile, other than login name and such, I had to manually enter in the database (for testing purposes)

Update: 750 PM
I was thinking maybe I was using an older version. It's what got installed from the web install.
All the files and folders were dated 28 May 07.
Now nothing works.

How do I apply the change set 28347 and update the database?
A point in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

My background:
Solid background in ASP.NET (VB) and SQL Server.

I teach ASP.NET and SQL Server to the military and would like to show my students how they can utilize a CMS running ASP.NET and AJAX.

I like your design, but I need to get around this problem

CLOSED ISSUE: Installation Incomplete error in Vista Business

When trying to install in Windows Vista Business it barely starts and then you get the Installation Incomplete error. I tried the soloution for Ultimate RC2, to run as admin, didn't help.

http://www.aclamplight.com/CASK/Calendar/default.aspx is a calendar that existing clients like the look and feel of; I will be implementing this as a new module in the CASK system.

COMMENTED ISSUE: Updating a User Profile

Community_UsersUpdateProfile stored procedure was returning prematurely because of changes made for earlier updates. Fixed stored procedure (available in CASKDotNet project under SQL\Updates\0.0.0.4 folder). Also updated code so that after a SAVE the page will return you to the User Profile display page (versus leaving you on the edit page).
